Education
- Most schools in Italy, start on August 9th, and end on May 23rd. The school year is just about the same length of our school year.
- Some of the subjects that the students can major in, or study are physics, natural history, math, literature, grammar, history, geography, social studies, P.E, art and design and music.
- Students are required to take at least 30 hours of formal lessons a week. Students may also have additional lessons, for anything that counts as an extra credit, or more school credits.
- Most of the schools in Sicily, or even Italy, are older and usually made of brick.
